Big-N-Bitty Buddies

Mom and friend
Meet Mom, the lovely lady on the left.  She's chatting with one of her neighbors.

Now, everyone say hello to Sue, my very first guest blogger!  I've blogged about her before except I called her Kim instead of Sue.  Blame melting brain syndrome, a common ailment here in the tropics.

Anyway, Sue, Kelly and Kathy organize themselves and others to hang out with my mom and her neighbors once a month.  There's a photo album to the left of some of their visits.  I'd love it if you'd join them, and so would they!

Sue nailed it when she said that it's
"an awesome opportunity for our children (and adults) to
share some of their energy with those that love to give attention."

Here's Sue:

Victory Center, an assisted living community in Joliet, has a resident community that we visit monthly. We have played games ranging from play dough and puzzles to checkers, bingo, and Jenga. We have sung Karaoke and danced the polka, as well as just sit and visit in the parlor. It has been a great success and an awesome opportunity for our children (and adults) to share some of their energy with those that love to give attention.

Our next visit will be on a Saturday soon, TBA.......
We will be having a "New Year Party".
Bring: You or your child's favorite craft idea, game, book to read, paper
to draw on, or anything else that you would like. We'd love to have you!

Please eat lunch before coming. Food and refreshments are not allowed from
the outside because of dietary restrictions. Water and coffee are
available.

Any questions, please e-mail or call. The number is below.

Thanks,
Sue Bresett
