Nora, you have discovered an award-winning art masterpiece!! That piece of art is the hat Mark made last May for Fancy Hat day at the English International School in Cotonou, and for which he won first prize in his class! It was a little too prickly to bring back to the US in our major move in June, and we are thrilled to see it has found a home on the arid steppes atop the mailboxes…
