Squinting

J0406793There’s this new wrinkle between my eyebrows.  It came from squinting at stuff.  This is frustrating, because I had that nifty eye surgery about 8 years ago that was supposed to fix that.  So what if it was free?  My eyes stayed fixed for about 6 years, and then-squinting.

So, I went to the eye doctor, and found out that people who had eye surgery are needing reading glasses earlier than normal.  Great.  And, that they are sometimes also seeing their astigmatism get worse.  Yep, that’s me.  But, (trying to flatter me?  because I was grumpy about not being able to wear contacts?) he said I was too young for bifocals.  So, I just got some glasses for reading and a pair of glasses to wear all the time.

Lighting isn’t always too good over here, you know?  That makes it harder to read.  Lots and lots of squinting, sigh.  I have found a solution, though.  I put my reading glasses on over my regular ones.  It’s a really good look.  I’d recommend it to anyone.

Next time I’m home, I’m getting bifocals.  I don’t care if I’m too young-this new wrinkle isn’t making me look any younger!!
