One of the things I love about living here is being able to have kittens!  These four were just born Sunday and I have good homes for three of them already.  I also get to keep them longer than the usual 6 weeks-if I keep them longer and let them get a little bigger and stronger, they have a better chance of making it.  Life is hard here for people, let alone tiny kittens.  I do try not to get too attached, though…

These are the best shoes I have ever bought.  They’re comfy, they’re cute (well, for comfortable shoes, at least), and they go with everything that I wear here.  They’re easy on and off, which is important, because you don’t wear shoes in the house here.

They have also been worn every day since the end of February,and are getting holes in them.  I’ve looked a little bit online to see if I can find the same color, but no luck so far.  Oh well.  I’ll keep wearing them until I can see the ground through the holes…
